Below is a selection of backgrounds/textures which can be used as computer desktop wallpaper, on your mobile phone, in any graphics program, as a texture in any 3D program and as a background for your web page or your email. These backgrounds/textures are free for non-commercial use only. There are styles to suite all tastes but please be aware that use of the more striking images may confuse your eyes when used in a large area. The images are available in two sizes 100 x 100 and 256 x 256 (as they can be tiled) the smaller images are scaled down from the 256 x 256 tile therefore the pattern will appear smaller if used as a background.
Each background/texture has three other alternative tints/colour schemes - hence the reason for 4 section for each. The slight changes in colour can have a drastic effect on the overall image. Please, if you find a background/texture that you like consider the alternative colour schems available in each section. The abstract textures are grouped into four colours but all other sections contain a vast variety of colours. Please browse through each section as you will find some really jump out at you. Currently we have over 2,600 backgrounds/textures (including the 100 x 100 and 256 x 256) which we have split into two top level pages. Over the coming months I will add several thousand more with a target of over 10,000 unique.
